Join Paul Pilarski, MnDOT Bridge Construction Engineer, for a guided tour of the I-94 & I-394 project in Minneapolis, a major bridge rehabilitation and roadway improvement project. The tour will highlight ongoing work to repair 34 bridges and ramps, realign the I‑394 to Dunwoody Blvd. ramp, replace portions of the Dunwoody and Penn Avenue bridges, and improve pavement, drainage, lighting, sidewalks, and accessibility throughout the project area.
This is a great opportunity to see a complex urban transportation project firsthand and learn about the engineering, construction, and traffic management challenges involved in maintaining critical infrastructure.
Safety Requirement: Attendees must provide and wear their own PPE, including a hard hat, safety glasses, high-visibility safety vest, and steel-toed boots. No one will be permitted on the project site without the required PPE.
